dbaker > this is not a good picture but it is the only one i can find that kinda shows the centerpieces. i had silver leafed hollow boxes on the table with touch lights in them. on top of the boxes i had plxiglass boxes that held other rombaldi artifacts. the glow of the boxes looked cool on the table highlighting the artifacts.
dbaker > what good guests...everyone helped to get the tables, chairs, etc down. here is a table coming down.

dbaker > the group on the roof
dbaker > we kept them blindfolded while we traveled to a local business building. they remained blindfolded as we walked through the building ending up in a courtyard area where the huge industrial air conditioning units are kept. it was loud and i'm sure a bit weird for those blindfolded. at this point the blindfolds came off and the ascent up 3 different ladders began.
dbaker > here we are after dinner getting ready to haul everything off the side of the building
dbaker > here is where we ended up for dinner - on the roof of the building. it turned ot awesome and i couldn't be more happy with the results of all the party planning. earlier in the day derek and i and a friend hauled chairs, tables, etc. up the side of the building and had the table all set. i had packaged dinner in bags and had them in an ice chest during the party. once guests had gotten out of the car blindfolded i handed them their dinner in a bag which they carried with them to the roof.
this is not a good picture but it is the only one i can find that kinda shows the centerpieces. i had silver leafed hollow boxes on the table with touch lights in them. on top of the boxes i had plxiglass boxes that held other rombaldi artifacts. the glow of the boxes looked cool on the table highlighting the artifacts.
